EVENT RECAP FROM FEB 14, 2020:
With 500 units donated, 1500 lives saved and 216 first-time donors, San Diegans helped save lives at the Celebration of Heroes Blood Drive. Coordinated by Kyle Kraska, it is reported by the ARC San Diego and Imperial Counties that the blood drive is the largest one-day Red Cross blood drive in California. Thank you, San Diego!

News 8 Sports Director Kyle Kraska is nothing short of a living miracle. On February 10, 2015, he was ambushed outside his home, shot six times and survived.
