POWAY, Calif. (CBS 8) - A brush fire broke out Monday afternoon in an industrial area of Poway, blackening about 12 acres before being contained by fire crews.
The blaze began at around 4:45 p.m. Monday at Community and Poway Road. The fire could be seen making its way up a hillside, sending white smoke into the sky.
Fire crews and air support had the fire fully contained within two hours.
A neighboring mobile home park was not in danger, according to reports.
There were no reports of injuries or structural damage.
