SCRIPPS RANCH (CBS 8) - Police were called to Scripps Ranch High School Wednesday after a student reportedly punched a teacher.
Four police cars were called to the scene to investigate and detain the student. San Diego police say they were called to investigate a 15-year-old male student punching his teacher in the face.
Several hours later, a spokesperson from the San Diego Unified School District told News 8 a special education student displayed some aggressive behavior with his assistant. The assistant was checked out and is fine. The school is reviewing the student's behavioral support plan.
San Diego City school police say the assistant isn't going to file charges. The student was never taken into custody.
