IMPERIAL BEACH (CNS) - Sheriff's detectives in Imperial Beach Sunday were investigating a shooting death near a 7-Eleven.
The shooting behind the convenience store at 1303 Imperial Beach Blvd. was reported about 8:15 a.m. Saturday, sheriff's Lt. Kelly Martinez told The Union-Tribune.
Police were withholding the victim's name. It was unclear if detectives found any witnesses, or if the suspect may have been captured on surveillance video.
The shooting death follows a fatal stabbing about 12:50 a.m. Saturday in the 2200 block of Palm Avenue. In that killing, San Diego police said they sought at least three men who fled in a tan, four-door sedan that may have been a Nissan Altima. That man's name was unavailable early today, as well.
