SAN DIEGO (CNS) - A person was fatally struck by a northbound Amtrak train in downtown San Diego Wednesday, authorities said.
The fatality near West Palm Avenue and Kettner Boulevard occurred about 6:30 a.m., according to the San Diego County Sheriff's Department.
Passengers on the train were escorted off and boarded another train.
