SANTA YSABEL (CNS) - A homicide investigation was underway Tuesday in the deaths of a couple found in their home in Santa Ysabel.
Sheriff's deputies found the bodies of a "retirement-age" man and a woman in a home in the 25200 block of Mesa Grande Road about 9 p.m. Monday, according to San Diego County sheriff's homicide Lt. Glenn Giannantonio.
"At this time, the cause and manner of death is unknown, as is the identity of the two victims," he said.
The bodies were turned over to the Medical Examiner's Office.
