SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - Firefighters discovered a possible drug lab in a room at an Old Town motel Friday.
Crews responded to a ringing alarm at the E-Z 8 Motel in the 4700 block of Pacific Highway around 1:30 p.m. When they arrived, they found tubing and cans of butane.
Police say those items are consistent with what would be needed to put a drug lab together.
Fire crews found no hazmat or fire threat. Police are now handling the investigation.
