SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - The San Diego International Airport is hosting the airport business diversity conference and News 8's own Marcella Lee was Monday's emcee.
"I'd like to share a few thoughts with you on what I love about San Diego, aside from the weather. It is really the diverse population," Lee told the audience.
Attendees flew in from around the world for the four-day conference at the Sheraton Hotel, just across from the airport.
The event is designed to encourage more women and minorities to be involved in aviation-related businesses.
