ESCONDIDO (CBS 8) - Members of the San Diego Immigrant Youth Collective rallied Monday outside Escondido police headquarters to protest the department's immigration policy.
They're demanding the department end its collaboration with Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents.
Escondido police officials say they only consult with immigration officers if an undocumented person breaks a law and has a history of deportation.
Monday's demonstration was peaceful and no one was arrested.
