Third suspect in botched bank robbery caught in Mexico

It took nearly a month but Robert Anthony Hodge, the alleged getaway driver in a botched University City bank robbery, is behind bars Sunday and being held on $500,000 bail.

SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - It took nearly a month but Robert Anthony Hodge, the alleged getaway driver in a botched University City bank robbery, is behind bars Sunday and being held on $500,000 bail.

San Diego police say the 28-year-old was captured by Mexican authorities in Rosarito Saturday.

He was brought to the border and turned over to local law enforcement officers.

Hodge faces two bank robbery counts for the June 11th incident and a May 7th holdup at the same Wells Fargo branch.

Two other suspects, Casey Wilson and Laura Elshire are already in custody.
