SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - A very happy homecoming for the crew of the USS Hampton after its return to San Diego Wednesday, just in time for Christmas.
Family and friends greeted their loved ones as the submarine arrived Wednesday afternoon after spending the last six months at sea.
While deployed, the crew helped provide security and increase the Navy's forward presence around the globe.
