EL CAJON (CNS) - A water main broke and created a sinkhole in El Cajon Sunday.
Heartland Fire and Rescue said the break occurred at the intersection of Ridge Hill Road and Gaucho Lane near the El Cajon neighborhood of Blossom Valley around 2:20 p.m.
Padre Dam and Helix Water Service were notified.
HFR blocked off Gaucho Lane as both sides of the road began to cave in.
