SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - A Missouri woman involved in a deadly police shooting and SWAT standoff in Pacific Beach will have to wait to be arraigned.
CBS News 8 has been told that a medical issue with Janie Sanders postponed her hearing scheduled for Friday morning.
Sanders claims to be the wife of Timothy Smith, 47, who was shot after a confrontation with police in Pacific Beach on Wednesday, November 4.
Sanders, 32, was arrested later that same night after barricading herself in a Pacific Beach apartment in the 3900 block of Ingraham Street. She claimed to be Smith's wife after her arrest, but the relation between the two is unclear at this point.

Police say Timothy Smith was a fugitive wanted for felonies in Missouri and was considered armed and dangerous.
Authorities reported that an officer spotted Smith walking down a street and chased him into an alley, where he managed to break free from a police dog. Police said he was shot after reaching into a pocket and died at the scene.
