OCEAN BEACH (CNS) - A body was spotted at Robb Field, on the north side of Ocean Beach, and an early-morning parkgoer flagged down San Diego police to report the discovery Monday.

Homicide detectives were brought in by the officers, who were called to the scene by the person who found the body just after 6 a.m., according to San Diego Police Officer Dan Lasher.
There was no early word on if the remains were those of a man or a woman, or if there was any signs of trauma. But homicide detectives are generally not called into an investigation if initial indications are of a death due to natural causes.
