SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) – All lanes on northbound Interstate-15 were reopened Tuesday evening after being shut down for hours after a semi-truck caught fire.
The truck was not carrying anything at the time of the fire and the drive managed to escape safely.
Traffic remains heavy even after all lanes were reopened.
The California Highway Patrol is urging drivers to avoid the area.
