CHULA VISTA, Calif. — One of the South Bay’s most beloved holiday traditions, the Chula Vista Starlight Parade and Festival, is returning this weekend.
After a three-year hiatus, Downtown Chula Vista will come alive on Dec. 3 with the Starlight Festival, tree lighting and stunning Starlight Parade.
More than 140 festive floats, classic cars, marching bands and dance teams will march down Downtown Third Avenue between H and E Streets.
Due to growing interest and demand, organizers said this year’s parade is expected to run longer than previous years.
