SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) – The Lakeside Fire Department is on the scene of a head-on crash on Wildcat Canyon Road Tuesday morning. The crash is causing major traffic delays in the area.
Two vehicles collided around 7:30 a.m. on Wildcat Canyon Road a couple miles south of Barona.
According to the Lakeside Fire Twitter page, crews on the scene are reporting five injuries. However, the conditions of the victims are not known as of this report.
Traffic in the area is stopped at this time – on both the northbound and southbound sides of Wildcat Canyon Road.
Chopper 8 live reports showed considerable back up on the southbound side.
