SAN DIEGO COUNTY, Calif. — A powerful atmospheric river delivered plenty of fresh powdery snow to San Diego County mountains.
The unsettled atmospheric system had dropped anywhere from a few tenths of an inch to more than 7 1/2 inches of rain across the county and delivered in excess of six inches of frozen white flakes across its eastern highlands, according to the National Weather Service.

Julian
