SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - A memorial service for a former Navy SEAL killed in an attack in Libya is taking place Thursday at North Island Naval Air Station.
Tyrone Woods will be buried at Fort Rosecrans. He was working seurity when he was killed along with U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens and two other Americans with local ties.
Woods served in the Navy for 20 years, and once owned the bar The Salty Frog in Imperial Beach.
News 8 is honoring the family's request for privacy during his service.
