SAN DIEGO (NEWS 8) — Law enforcement agencies on Wednesday served multiple search warrants in Jamul and across San Diego related to federal firearms violations, according to the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
The ATF and FBI executed the warrants, but the names and locations of those involved were not released.
The warrants were part of federal firearms trafficking investigations, according to authorities.
News 8 captured an image of ATF agents outside the Leo Hamel Fine Jewelers location in Old Town.
In the footage below Chopper 8 shows agents at a property in Jamul located on Presilla Drive. ATF confirmed that a federal search warrant was being executed in the 15000 block of that street.
