SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - Legendary actor and singer Ben Vereen is helping make dreams come true for local high school students.
For the second year, the Broadway veteran is hosting the Ben Vereen Awards.
The contests, which include written and performing competitions, aim at improving the lives of students through the performing arts.
Winners will be announced April 26th and include awards and scholarships. The deadline for applications is January 31st.
