Machine Gun Kelly and Jelly Roll have officially released their first collaborative track, "Lonely Road," along with a heartfelt music video.
The single, which was unveiled on Friday, offers a unique twist on John Denver's classic tune, "Take Me Home, Country Roads" and features cameos from the artists' significant others, Megan Fox and Bunnie Xo. Jelly Roll sings, "Lonely road, take me home, to the place, we went wrong / Where'd you go now, it's been a ghost town, and I'm still here, all alone."
The video opens with MGK and Jelly Roll, dressed in all-black, attending a funeral. The scene transitions to show them working together at a car garage, depicting the two men struggling financially as they try to support their families.
MGK, 34, delivers poignant lyrics, crooning, "I probably could've saved us but instead I let us crash / Cause I don't trust no one to love me back / But she say I do and this is not the place for you."
Fox, wearing a baby bump, stars in the music video as MGK's significant other who is pregnant. After speaking with her on the phone, MGK arrives home to kiss Fox on the lips and stomach before discovering a "Final Notice" demand on their residence. The video then shows the couple by a lake, with Fox's bump on display.
Meanwhile, Jelly Roll, 39, returns home to find Bunnie Xo reading an "infertility diagnosis and management" letter. In real life, the couple shared last month their struggles with fertility amid Bunnie getting IVF treatments.
The video continues with the foursome praying together around a table before MGK suggests to Jelly Roll a risky solution to their money problems. Jelly Roll hesitates, replying, "I can't go back down that road, man."
MGK, who also goes by Colson Baker, is then seen riding his motorcycle and kissing Fox's belly before robbing a bank. As the police close in, he is arrested, and again kisses her baby bump. The video then jumps forward eight months, showing Fox cradling a baby girl named Violet Leika, who she introduces to Jelly Roll and Bunnie Xo before taking her to visit MGK in prison.

The emotional video ends with the introduction of baby Violet Leika, whose real mother, Anna Cejka, shared a clip on her Instagram Stories and commented on a post claiming they spelled her daughter's last name wrong.

"Lonely Road," first teased on July 18, is a product of "two years, eight different studios, four different countries" and four key changes, according to the musicians, who have dubbed themselves "KellyRoll."
This collaboration marks a significant milestone for both artists, who share roots in hip-hop and have successfully ventured into other genres -- MGK in pop-punk and Jelly Roll in country. Recently, MGK has also been exploring the country music scene, having shared a performed a cover of Zach Bryan's "Sun to Me."
Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly are seen in New York City Sept. 6, 2023.
Following a year of ups and downs, breakups and makeups, Fox and MGK are doing well and still working on repairing their love, a source told ET.
"Things have been much better with Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly," the source said earlier this month. "They've been problem solving, working on effective communication, reestablishing their commitment to each other, and realigning the direction of their relationship and where they want it to go."
According to the source, the couple is working through their communication issues with the help of therapy, separately and as a unit. As a result, their wedding plans are on hold.
"Communication and therapy are what’s working best for them at this time," the source added. "They're both still committed to working on themselves and together. Their engagement and wedding are still on standby, but they're very happy in this moment together."
While Fox appears pregnant with MGK's baby in the music video, the couple revealed last year that she suffered a miscarriage.
"I had never been through anything like that before in my life," Fox said in an interview with Good Morning America. "I have three kids, so it was very difficult for both of us. And it sent us on a very wild journey together and separately, and together and apart, and together and apart, and together and apart, trying to navigate, 'What does this mean? Why did this happen?'"
Fox was previously married to Brian Austin Green for 10 years. The former couple shares three kids: Noah, Bodhi and Journey. Machine Gun Kelly has a teenage daughter, Casie, from a previous relationship.
