The goal of the learning center is to empower people from all different backgrounds to be healthy and active through gardening. Olivewood Gardens and Learning Center wants to reconnect people to the environment through food, education and community engagement.
Olivewood Gardens and Learning Center is located in National City -- in a beautiful home! Back in July 2006 Christy Walton donated her former home and garden to the International Community Foundation with the goal of helping people become healthier through philanthropy.
