SAN DIEGO — If you don't know by now that Shawn Styles loves cars, you haven't seen my car specials. Well, I've found a place in Barrio Logan, the Garage Collective, and it's heaven on Earth. I'm going to take you on a tour.
Georgia Raddon is the event coordinator for Garage Collective. She said the club is where everybody knows your name and the car you drive.
"Garage Collective is just a car club of auto enthusiasts," Raddon said. "It's a membership club, it's a storage club, it's a fun club. We like to call it the third place: It's not your home, it's not your work, it's the place you come to. It's a special place."
Garage Collective is more than just a place to store your car ... it has pool tables, race simulators and a lounge to kickback in. But at its core it's all about the love of rolling art and keeping in a safe space.
Members can have their pride and joy memorialized with images with the in-house studio and pictures taken by some of the best in the business.
"We have a photo shoot going on with a GT3 RS, it's a member car with our in-house photographer. Just like people like have pictures of their kids and pets, our members like pictures of their cars," Raddon said.
And getting ready for that close up is easy. Garage Collective has an in-house detailer from Clarity Solutions.
So, what's the price to play ... It starts at $120 per month and you don't even need a car.
"Come in and have a tour, we're actually running a special. If you see this on CBS 8 you'll get a two month free membership," Raddon said.
Garage Collective also opens their doors for that special celebration.
"For corporate events, for weddings, birthday parties, Quinceanera's, all kinds of thing," Raddon said.

"This is where our members come to work, we have a conference room, you can take meetings there one on one," Raddon said.
Garage Collective is a unique place located at 1827 Main St. in Barrio Logan, open 7 days a week.
