WORLEY, Idaho — A $27.5 million home in Worley, Idaho along Lake Coeur d’Alene is Idaho’s most expensive home sold on the public market, according to an article by Mansion Global.
The 18-acre property was listed in August for $30 million and was sold two months later, according to the article. It’s located on Windy Bay Road.
The property, known as Sky Pine Estate, includes a 16,620-square-foot home, a 2,400-square-foot boathouse that houses eight watercrafts, an outdoor patio, private helipad and two hangars at the Coeur d’Alene Airport, according to the home’s listing.
“It has the feel of a resort from the entry down a long, gated driveway to the front door, beneath a protected portico,” the listing said. “All that’s missing is the parking valet.”
There’s also a wine cellar and tasting room, screening room and a game room with a bar, billiards table, foosball and arcade-style pinball machines and racing simulators, the listing says.
Mansion Global wrote the home was built in 2011 for Ron Pratte, the founder and former CEO of the Pratte Development Company in Phoenix, Arizona. The company is one of the biggest wood framing and concrete foundation companies in the United States. Pratte was also known for his elaborate car collection. He eventually sold the 100-car collection for $40 million, according to Historygarage.com.
