SAN DIEGO (CNS) - Firefighters used aerial tankers and helicopters to stop a brush fire that scorched four acres near Barona Saturday, Cal Fire said.
The blaze was reported at 11:49 a.m., near the 1100 block of Bullpen Street, and the fire's cause remained under investigation, Cal Fire said.
Firefighters used two helicopters, two airtankers and a bulldozer to combat the flames, which was contained about 12:30 p.m., Cal Fire said.
Approximately 75 firefighters assisted in knocking down the blaze.
One minor injury to a firefighter, a bee sting, was reported, Cal Fire said.
