SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - A brand new art exhibit just opened in San Diego and it features some of the biggest names in modern art.
Artists like Andy Warhol and Jackson Pollock are just a couple of the artists included in the show.
It's titled: Gauguin to Warhol. It's a rare opportunity to see all kinds of masterpieces in San Diego at one museum, in one exhibition.
The pieces come to San Diego from the Albright-Knox Art Gallery in Buffalo, which has an internationally renowned modern art collection.
The works in this exhibition are masterpieces from the biggest names in art including Vincent van Gogh, Pablo Picasso, Georgia O'Keeffe, Salvador Dalí, Frida Kahlo, Paul Gauguin, Francis Bacon, Roy Lichtenstein, Andy Warhol, Jackson Pollock, and Mark Rothko.
