(CBS 8) - The former Marine recently freed from a Mexican jail after crossing the border with weapons in his car is in trouble with the law again.
Andrew Tahmooressi was arrested overnight in Georgia. He's currently being held on charges of DUI refusal and reckless driving.
Tahmooressi made headlines last year when he spent seven months in jail, as family members and lawmakers rallied for his freedom. He said he mistakenly crossed into Mexico with three loaded guns.
He posted bond and was released from jail in Georgia Thursday morning. Officials say Tahmooressi refused to cooperate with police.
A spokesman for Tahmooressi says he continues to struggle from PTSD.
