SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - Did you see the fireworks over San Diego bay? The Big Bay Boom fireworks show sizzled instead of fizzled, thrilling the crowd and putting last year's bust in the past.
The company behind last year's debacle was given a second chance to entertain the crowd this year. More than 500,000 people packed the bay for the show that had all 4th of July revelers impressed.
"I think it's the best fireworks we have seen in 24 years down here," said a spectator.
The fireworks for this year's show were donated by Garden State Fireworks, the company that was responsible for last year's fiasco.
