SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - A boat became stuck on a sand bar in the San Diego River outlet near Dog Beach Sunday afternoon.
San Diego lifeguards received a call at around 5:00 p.m. Sunday from the boat operator saying his boat was stuck.
The people on board the boat were escorted off and were later questioned by San Diego police officers. The boat operator was arrested for DUI and police discovered coolers full of beer on the boat.
A tow company will remove the boat during high tide at around noon Monday.
