SAN DIEGO (NEWS 8) - The 7th Annual International Mariachi Festival will take over Chula Vista’s Bayside Park on Sunday March 10th.
The event will feature full-scale cultural celebration of mariachi music, traditional folkloric dance and art is expected to draw thousands of fans and spectators to the region.
In addition to the live entertainment, the festival will have a Family Pavilion that will include face painting, caricaturist, live street art, Wow Factor Attractions, including a rock-climbing wall, a Mayan Maze, petting zoo, pony rides, and arts & crafts!
Jacqueline Reynoso along with a mariachi band dropped by Morning Extra to play a few songs and to talk about the many different activities that will be taking place at the festival.
