SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - If you plan to cross the San Ysidro border this month be prepared for traffic due to construction.
Workers will be installing a canopy over the southbound Interstate 5 lanes at the San Ysidro border crossing.
Partial closures are expected through June 30th of the lanes entering Mexico.
Most of the construction will happen in the middle of the night with lanes reopening around 5 a.m.
