SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) – An FBI investigation was under way Wednesday in Clairemont, where agents raided a home.
Agents served a search warrant to residents in a home in the
at about 7 a.m., seizing items from a blue Ford Bronco, a brown Dodge Durango and a red Jeep before leaving at about 8:30 a.m. They're being very tight-lipped during the investigation.
An FBI spokesperson told CBS News 8 they served a sealed federal search warrant authorized by a judge to collect items. It appeared they were looking at a couple of knives covered in cases. They supposedly took a laptop computer, documents and a possible rifle case during the raid. There were no arrests.
According to the DMV, the Bronco and the Durango are registered to Timothy Sherman.
All this action in the normally quiet neighborhood comes as a surprise to most residents.
"Been good neighbors and friendly people. Don't see a lot of people going in and out of there, couple of guys live in there," neighbor Pete Petiford said.
