SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - December Nights kicks off Friday night.
This year, the two-day event also marks the beginning of a yearlong celebration of the park's centennial.
December nights features sparkling lights, multi-cultural music and dance performances, as well as food and holiday shopping. Visitors can also take a ride on the new December Flights zip line.
Museums will be open for free between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m.
