LAKESIDE (CNS) - The body of a woman who may have been slain by her husband was found in the couple's Lakeside home Wednesday afternoon.
The possible domestic killing in the 11300 block of El Nopal in the Eucalyptus Hills neighborhood was reported shortly after 1 p.m., according to sheriff's officials. Homicide detectives were called in to investigate, Lt. Jim Nolan said.
According to broadcast reports, the deceased woman's husband reported the death at the sheriff's Santee Station, telling deputies he had killed her.
The couple's names were not immediately available.
