SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - A pickup truck driver is hospitalized Friday morning with major injuries after running into a big rig near Descanso.
It happened just before 8 p.m. Thursday on Interstate 8 near Japatul Valley Road.
When emergency crews arrived, they found the truck's 28-year-old driver trapped inside the vehicle.
Firefighters were able to get him out and loaded him onto the helicopter.
