SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - Former Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld paid a visit to Naval Base San Diego Friday.
He was on hand at the Navy exchange to sign copies of his memoir exclusively for service members. Rumsfeld recalled living in Coronado while his father served on an aircraft carrier during World War Two.
Rumsfeld also underscored the importance of San Diego's role as a proud military town.
