DANA POINT, Calif. (AP) - Experts have been sent out to rescue a blue whale tangled in fishing line off the Southern California coast.
The 60-to-80-foot whale was spotted Monday morning off of Dana Point.
Reports from a whale boat say about 200 feet of line are wrapped around the whale's tail.
Michael Milstein of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration tells City News Service the same whale may have been spotted off the San Diego coast on Sunday.
