SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - Jennifer Krajnak was found shot in the head, lying on a street in Lemon Grove Thursday night.
Saturday, a 32-year-old man was arrested in Portland in connection with her murder.
At just 30-years-old, Justin Tubbs says his sister, Jennifer Krajnak, still had her entire life ahead of her.
That is, until early Thursday morning when investigators say Casey Tschida shot her once in the head and left her to die in the middle of a Lemon Grove street.
Jennifer and Tschida had hung out a few times in the past, and saw each other at Dirk's Nightclub shortly before the shooting.
But, the two left separately. Minutes later, Tschida reportedly approached Jennifer as she was walking home.
Friends can only speculate as to what happened next.
Tschida is from Lemon Grove, but fled to his mom's house in Oregon right after the shooting.
Jennifer's loved ones say they know very little about the 32-year-old.
As they continue to learn more, they say their only focus now is to honor Jennifer the best way they know how.
A fundraiser is already in the works to help with funeral costs.
A memorial continues to grow near the last place Jennifer was seen alive.
It's a place people have been gathering to share stories about a young woman who was just as passionate about her beliefs as she was about the important people in her life.
