SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - A fatal accident occurred on southbound Interstate 15 near Aero Drive and Friars Road early Monday morning.
Limited information is known about this crash, but early reports suggest that a driver went off the road around 4:15 a.m. Once on scene, emergency crews searched to see if any other passengers were ejected, but they didn't find anyone.
The identity of the male driver hasn't been released, but authorities say he was not wearing a seat belt.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
