SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - A fire broke out at a condominium complex in San Carlos Thursday afternoon, sending thick plumes of smoke billowing into the air as fire crews worked to extinguish the flames.
It happened on Mission Mesa Way. A view from Chopper 8 showed smoke coming from at least one unit, and flames coming through a hole in the building's roof.
Fire crews appeared to have the blaze contained just before 3 p.m.
The cause of the fire was not known.
