SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - Firefighters were at the scene of a commercial fire in Kearny Mesa Monday morning.
Flames broke out at an office building in the 9400 block of Chesapeake Drive. The fire was confined to the third floor near an elevator shaft.
"Right now, we've got the fire knocked down in the wall, but the significant damage is water flow. It was a sprinkler that had fused it caused significant damage in all three floors now," said Colin Stowell with San Diego Fire-Rescue
The cause of the fire is under investigation. No injuries have been reported.
