Free skin cancer screenings for first responders

A local medical center is working to keep first responders safe from the sun.
SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - A local medical center is working to keep first responders safe from the sun.
On Monday, Scripps Health officials offered free skin cancer screenings to lifeguards, firefighters and police officers. San Diego is known for its great weather, but that can be a risk for public safety officials who spend most of their time outdoors.
Scripps will hold to other skin cancer screenings in August at San Diego Fire-Rescue Station 45, right next to Qualcomm Stadium. The screenings are scheduled for August 6th and August 22nd.
