SAN DIEGO COUNTY, Calif. — Ten-year-old Abbigail McDonald was located safe at a residence in the unincorporated area of El Cajon, according to the San Diego County Sheriff's Department. She was reported missing early Wednesday morning in Alpine.

A search and rescue team has been called in Wednesday to help search for a missing girl in Alpine, according to the San Diego County Sheriff's Department.
Abbigail McDonald, 10, was last seen at home wearing a black tank top and jeans, the department said. Her family's home address was not disclosed and it was unclear when she was last seen.
