SAN DIEGO — San Diego Fire-Rescue Department crews responded to a small fire near Balboa Park on Tuesday.
The call for the fire came in around 5:20 p.m. Additional personnel was cancelled as those on the scene had the fire under control, according to officials.
The fire was in a canyon area and was about 10 by 10 feet.
No injuries were reported and the cause was unknown as of Tuesday evening.
Officials said the fire was not in a homeless encampment and was near a hiking trail.
