SAN DIEGO — The Piano Man, Billy Joel is returning to San Diego for a show along with Sting at Petco Park on Saturday, April 13, 2024. The last time Billy Joel played in San Diego was in May 2016 at Petco Park. Sting has been here much more recently, having played in October 2023 at San Diego State's Cal Coast Credit Union Open Air Theatre.
The San Diego Padres, in partnership with Live Nation, announced the upcoming show on Thursday from Petco Park.
Tickets will go on sale to the general public on Friday, October 27, 2023, at 10 a.m. through LiveNation.com. There are presale ticket opportunities for both Citi cardmembers as well as Version customers.
Since opening in 2004, Petco Park has been the home of MLB's San Diego Padres and has hosted several concerts including The Rolling Stones in 2005 and 2015, Madonna in 2008, Paul McCartney in 2014 and 2019, and Taylor Swift in 2015.
In addition to Billy Joel and Sting on the upcoming list, the Foo Fighters are also scheduled to play in August 2024.
