Firefighters in North County's De Luz Heights have contained a brush fire that broke out Sunday morning near De Luz Heights.
The Trail Fire was first reported at 10:14 a.m. along Harris Trail in a rugged area. According to Cal Fire, the fire burned 12 acres and was 85% contained by Monday morning. The fire was 100% contained by Monday afternoon.
At one point, Cal Fire said the fire had potential to grow to 50 acres.
There have been no reports of any threats to structures, however evacuation warnings were issued for the surrounding area. All of those warnings have since been lifted.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
