Did you feel it? Pair of Imperial County earthquakes hit near U.S.-Mexico border

Although it was centered near Ocotillo, some residents of San Diego County felt the shake up.

IMPERIAL COUNTY, Calif — A pair of earthquakes in Imperial County near Ocotillo hit southern California residents Tuesday night.

According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the first earthquake hit around 8:11 p.m. with a preliminary magnitude of 3.5. The second hit roughly 20 minutes later nearby and had a 3.7 preliminary magnitude. 

No damages were immediately reported.
