CHULA VISTA, Calif. — A man riding a motorcycle crashed into a tree and died in Chula Vista Thursday evening, Chula Vista police say.
The crash occurred just after 4:30 p.m. near the 700 block of Telegraph Canyon Road.
Police are asking residents to avoid the area of Medical Center Drive to Paseo Del Rey on Telegraph Canyon Road for the next several hours.
It is unclear what lead to the crash.
The rider has not been identified yet.
