SAN DIEGO — Did you see strange, bright lights floating in the San Diego sky on Sunday night? Well, they weren’t UFOs.

The descending lights seen in San Diego were the United States Navy Leap Frogs skydiving into the San Diego Wave FC game at Snapdragon Stadium on Sunday.

The legendary parachute team is best known for their famous skydives that stun fans at events across the country.

The Leap Frogs confirmed their performance in a post on social media ahead of their jump on Sunday evening. The parachute team warned San Diegans to not be concerned if they see UFOs in the sky.

The strange-looking lights were just Navy parachute team members jumping into the start of the San Diego Wave FC game using their showstopping flares.

Despite the warning, people posted to social media to ask: what are those lights?
